Shawls for your couch, to wear for prayer, or...

Gandhi used handwoven cloth as a symbol to protest dehumanization in the industrial age. These shawls are used both for warmth during the stillness of prayer or meditation and as a symbol of a deeper connection.
"Live simply so others may simply live."

Each shawl is woven and designed individually, occasionally with related cushions. Colours are approximate and the soft textural feel cannot be duplicated of course. They can also be used as hangings, tablecloths or throws. The patterns are often assymetrical and change from side to side as well as throughout the length. Yarns are all natural and can include cotton, silk, wools or rayon chenille.
Each shawl, throw or tablecloth is washable.
